Today marks 6 months in business for The Dresser 🎉
In some ways this is barely any time, but in many others it feels like forever and such a big achievement I can hardly believe it. And one I honestly never thought I’d see. Saying I feel proud doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Lots and lots of hard work ahead but also many exciting things to come!
It’s hard to believe we’re starting the countdown to Christmas. All year round, but in particular at this time of year, it’s so important to support local business. This doesn’t mean shop solely local, that would be a challenge! But when you are writing your list of things to buy your loved ones, think of (or research) someone who creates unique gifts your friends and family would love.
Or when you’re planning your special days and nights over Christmas, think of visiting a local boutique where you’ll find something so unique.
Spend a Saturday in a different town and visit their local retailers - people who work tirelessly all year in the hopes of making customers happy with their business. It will be so appreciated, and they will genuinely do a happy dance every time someone buys from them!
Because, believe me, 6 months in I feel that joy and gratitude with every.single.customer.
I hope it never leaves me.
